Payment processing

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and any other payment methods displayed during checkout. The payment options available for a particular order may depend on the customer’s device, location, currency, and checkout eligibility. A payment method is available only when it is presented during checkout.

novanomads is the retailer responsible for its products, order service, fulfillment and refunds. Shopify provides the store platform and payment services; it is not the seller of the products offered by novanomads.

Currency and order total

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD). Displayed product prices do not include applicable tax. Review the item prices, any applicable tax, shipping amount and final order total in checkout before authorizing payment. See the Shipping Policy for shipping terms.

Authorizations and pending entries

A payment authorization can appear as a pending entry or hold with your bank or payment provider. A pending entry is not always a completed charge. Its display and release can depend on your bank or payment provider. If you need help identifying a payment for a novanomads order, contact us with the order reference, date and amount.

Failed payments or possible duplicate charges

If payment fails, review the message in checkout and check with your payment provider as needed. If you believe you have been charged twice, contact us with the relevant order reference, dates and amounts so the payments can be reviewed. Do not send sensitive payment credentials.

Verification and payment security

A payment or order may require additional verification. Complete only the verification requested through checkout or a verified support contact. We do not ask you to email a full card number, CVV, account password or banking password.

We do not require payment by an off-site bank transfer, cryptocurrency transfer or payment to a personal account. Use a payment method presented in checkout.

One-time purchases

The current product catalog is offered as one-time purchases. There are no subscription or automatic-renewal plans attached to the current products.

Refunds

Return eligibility and the return process are described in the Refund Policy.

For an approved return, we will issue the refund to the original payment method within 10 calendar days after receiving and inspecting the returned item. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
